City of Kano
The capital city of Kano State is Kano. Kano is a Hausa and Fulani ethnically dominated city that is largely Muslim.
“Kano has come of age. We cannot move in the direction of large shanty city. Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Kaduna and even Ogun are using the mass rail. Kano must join the league because we have a bigger city and larger population,” Governor Abdullahi Ganduje said. -Source:: National Mirror
